Wagyu Picanha steaks are a crazy cut of meat that will blow your mind...
In the United States, wagyu picanha is hard to come by, but our friends at Snake River Farms got us the hookup. There are a few ways to cook these cuts but we decided to slice this one against the grain into several twoinch steaks and cook them up that way.
This wagyu picanha recipe is super easy.
We hit them on both sides with some coarse rock salt and finished them at 126 degrees Fahrenheit internal temperature on our Kamado Joe.
Once we got the temperature to a nice 110 we put these on the second cooking level and let that direct heat throw a beautiful sear on these!
Of course, we couldn't prepare steak around here without using just a pinch of our Texas Beef Rub. If you can get your hands on a picanha I highly recommend you do!
