Wow, over 100k views, thanks everyone! Never thought any of my videos would get this much. Also, I see in the comments, that many of you are like "I don't know what's happening in the video, so I'll Dislike it": This is a ToolAssisted Speedrun, which was made only for entertaining. It means, it was recorded with an emulator, using save states, slow downs, and making inputs frame by frame. No cheats, everything you see in this video can be done on a real console in theory. I decided to make a Luigi run, because I thought it would be easier with him. Well, there are places that Luigi can reach easily, but in other places he jumps too big and his running speed is too slow. Also, there are differences in the SNES and GBA versions, though many trick are still possible to do.
The first place, where I could really use Luigi's big jump is Yoshi's Island 4, where Mario can't jump big enough to reach the high platforms. Btw, there is a little lag because of the koopas. I don't know if it's just the emulator, or it is same on an actual GBA. In Iggy's castle, it's easier to jump on the Pswitch in the air, because Luigi falls slower. Also, one jump is enough to get over the bigger gap. In the next room, jumping under the log is still possible and I think defeating Iggy is easier with Luigi. Donut Plains 1: The first noticeable thing is that the screen follows the character vertically when flying unlike the SNES version. So it was easier to get to the key. Donut Secret 1: There is only one button for spinning, so it's not possible while holding the shell, I had to dodge the fishes instead. Also, pressing the Pswitch slows down the character a little. Donut Secret House: I don't know if it's possible to jumps through the stairs, but I couldn't do it with Luigi. Also, he starts running to late and jumps too big, so it was a little hard to optimize this level. Star World 1: Again, I don't know if passing through solid yellow blocks is possible in the GBA version, but at least it's not possible with Luigi. Star World 2: The key's and the keyhole's place was changed a little. Star World 4: I figured out that if you let off the running button for 1 frame, it's possible to do a spin an still continue flying. Still, it not always works. Bowser's Castle: First, it's not possible to keep flight after entering a door, so I just run through there. The dark room's light lag the the game, so I didn't turn it on. The room is much brighter anyway. In the Bowser battle, Peach's mushrooms can't be lifted up with the cape, so I couldn't play with it. And "killing" the big black ball will give a defeated mecha koopa. The credits is a little different too.
