We all go through phases when we have no idea what to prepare for lunch and usually end up repeating the same or similar dishes. Today, we present something different. You'll easily prepare a meal that everyone will enjoy and certainly break the monotony that everyone knows. Royal eggs in béchamel sauce is the name of today's recipe. Written recipe preparation: Boil the eggs in the usual way until they are hardboiled, then set them aside.
Prepare the béchamel sauce. Melt butter in a saucepan on the stove. Add flour and stir briefly until it changes color. Remove the saucepan from the heat and slowly pour in the milk. Return the saucepan to the heat and stir constantly until the sauce thickens. Add Vegeta and dry spices to taste. Once you reach the desired consistency, set the saucepan aside.
In another saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add previously washed rice and sauté it in the butter until it becomes loose (about 10 minutes). Pour in water and cook for another 10 minutes until it's halfway cooked. Salt to taste.
Prepare a baking dish or ovenproof dish for baking the eggs. Pour the rice onto the bottom and spread it evenly in the dish. Then, cut the previously peeled eggs in half and arrange them over the rice, then pour the béchamel sauce over them. Bake the eggs and rice in a preheated oven at 180 to 200 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes. Briefly remove the dish, sprinkle grated cheese over it, and return it to the oven for another ten minutes until the cheese melts nicely and turns golden brown.
