You might have already heard the latest news - last Monday a Miss. police officer was injured when his patrol car was slammed into by a truck - a truck that was being pursued by nearby Jackson State University police. The positive news is that it seems like the officer is going to be all right. The officer is recovered and could be released from the hospital on Wednesday afternoon. The better news is there was at least one witness, which means the police have the chance of catching the driver of the van, who remains at large.
