From Echo Chamber To Dialed-In: Addressing My Room's Acoustics
Alright guys, I've been putting this off long enough. I've spent the past couple of years assembling what could be my "endgame" twochannel hifi system yet I've ignored arguably one of the most critical parts of the equation: my room. With multiple ceiling heights, a brick wall, and plenty of windows all crammed into a relatively small space it's safe to say I've got challenging room. For this project, I've enlisted the help of GIK Acoustics who offered to ensure my room is no longer the weakest link in my hifi system.
In this video I chat with Gus Campbell, one of the designers at GIK Acoustics, as we start tearing apart my room and planning how to make it sound better. In part 2, I'll give you my indepth listening impressions and you'll get to hear a before and after sound demo with my guitar and violin. Enjoy!
