Can I Run with My Dog? | Canicross Training | Belgian Shepherd Tervuren

Running with your dog is a great way to tire a high energy dog. If you're wondering how to start running with your dog, the gear you need is a long harness, a bungee dog leash and a running belt. This dog sport is called canicross and Rancho the belgian shepherd tervuren really enjoys running with me. Belgian shepherds are really versatile and can do all kinds of dog sports.
My favorite canicross equipment is the Nonstop Dogwear Combined Harness, the NonStop Dogwear Park Run line and trekking belt by the same brand see the links below. Only now did he get old enough to pull for longer stretches, but I still let him off the leash to run free quite often. Mostly because I feel like I'm too slow for him:)
