This month, Bryan Cranston, Kevin Hart, and Nicole Kidman star in the longawaited American remake of the it French dramedy, ‘The Intouchables,’ which helped launch the international career of Omar Sy. The new film, ‘The Upside,’ tells the story of the bond between a paralyzed billionaire (Cranston) and his recently paroled caretaker (Hart), and critics are already praising the chemistry between the unlikely pair. Cranston and Hart recently sat down with Rotten Tomatoes’ Grae Drake to talk about the challenge of remaking – or “remixing” – ‘The Intouchables’ and which role from each other’s careers they would have loved to have played.
