Kam and I make the ultimate breakfast to cure even the worst hangovers! (Eggs in a bag, homemade biscuits and Cuban coffee)
RECIPE:
Cheddar Sage Biscuits:
4 cups all purpose flour
2 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp kosher salt
2 cups shredded cheddar
2 tbsp fresh chopped sage
3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cup buttermilk
(Bake at 450 degrees F for 1215 minutes or until golden brown)
Eggs in a bag:
2 large eggs
2 tbsp milk
Seasonings/fillings of your choice
(Cook for 13 minutes in boiling water)
Cuban coffee:
1/4 cup white sugar
Cafe Bustelo espresso (amount depends on size of espresso maker)
1/2 cup soy milk (warmed)
